A very common question. The answer is yes, but not where you might think.

Posts

Our vinyl posts have a thick enough wall that they don’t need any reinforcement from steel or wood. The cementing process itself is enough to lock them in while leaving them enough flexibility to adjust to the vagaries of our climate.

Nothing speaks louder about our confidence in our vinyl posts than our lifetime warranty.

Rails are Different

The stresses on rails are different. They have a tendency to sag in the middle of sections unless they are reinforced. That’s why every bottom rail we install has a steel insert. Vinyl made in green teak is a little more pliable than usual so for that colour we add an insert in the top rail as well.

bridgeport in green teak

We put steel inserts in both the top and bottom rails for our green teak vinyl fences.
