Order Processing
If you need the odd replacement part (e.g., an attachment, or a couple of caps) come on down and we'll do our best to fix you up.
Most of our business, however, comes in the form of "kits" (e.g., 50 feet of fence and a gate) and because of the diverse range of items we offer most of these orders are not available for immediate pick-up. Orders are individually processed on an "as available" basis, which is generally accomplished first-in/first-out.
Our Sales Reps are always able to give their best guess regarding lead times at the time of order.
Customers can expect to hear from our Customer Service a day or two before a Materials Only order is ready to ship, or about a week or two before our Installers will be ready to start construction on a Post & Supply or Fully Installed Order.
Packaging
Many of our products are delivered to you in easy-to-assemble "knock-down" kits (ask your Sales Rep for details). Kits allow us to ship some items more economically. Full instructions are included. All that's required of you is a little time, a few basic tools, and you will have assembled quality products that are comfortable, sturdy, long-lasting and safe. We have been shipping product all over the country and even abroad for years. Our Customer Service department will be happy to assist you with any assembly questions.
Prices and Sales Tax
Pricing in our current sales pages supersede all previous catalogues or quotations. Availability, design specifications and pricing are all subject to change. We will collect all sales tax applicable in addition to any prices.
Cancelling an Order
If you feel you have made a mistake concerning your order, please call us at 613-736-1122 as soon as possible. We don't want anyone to be stuck with a fence they don't want or need. This includes us - we cannot cancel custom orders under any circumstances (once they've been started), but we do want to help to do what we can to make everyone happy.
Domestic Shipping
All of our products can be shipped via Motor Freight. We can quote approximate costs to your delivery point (although some oversized items or off the track destinations are subject to a surcharge that we may not know to include in our guess of shipping charges). Motor Freight deliveries can only be made to locations with a street address. All shipments must be signed for, so please include your phone number so the transportation company can notify you before delivery. The delivery driver is responsible only for delivery, not offloading. You may have to provide assistance for items difficult to unload from the truck.
International Shipping
Products are all priced as if they are being picked-up at our offices in Ottawa. All freight is considered as extra, as per terms and rates specified by the customer's choice of shipper. We will NOT pay freight charges for the customer and "add it to their bill". Shipping costs are the customers responsibility.
Because of issues related to the on-going Canada-U.S. softwoods agreement, NOT ALL items are available (particularly wood products) for shipment into the United States at this time.
Shipment outside the Continental US
Shipments to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska and countries abroad are not being offered at this time.
P.O. Boxes
Shipments cannot be sent to post office boxes.
Custom Orders
Many Fence-All items can be made in sizes and colors, other than those stated on this website or in our standard sales pages, at an additional cost. Please call and we'll try to satisfy your special request. Sorry, custom orders cannot be returned or refunded.
Forms of Payment
Fence-All accepts: Cash, Cheque, Debit Card, VISA, MasterCard and American Express. We also offer financing for Installed Orders (Ontario only--please ask your Sales Rep for details).
Payment for all Materials Only and Post & Supply Orders are due-in-full prior to delivery of goods.
Fully Installed orders require a deposit, with Final Payment due immediately upon delivery. For those customers not paying with a credit card, our Installers are all authorized and responsible to collect these final payments.
